Texture Tuesday with Fresh Masks

This texture tuesday I decided to take a deep dive into my mask collection as this time of year I tend to really focus on keeping my skin hydrated as well as refine its texture since I don’t find myself outside or in the sun as much it can handle some heavier duty skincare practices.

These three masks are just part of my masking collection. While they do have some similarities they also have unique elements which makes it possible for you to find your perfect masking match.

All three masks are ‘Clean at Sephora’ which means the product is formulated without a list of over 50 ingredients, including sulfates (SLS and SLES), parabens, phthalates, and more. They can all be used for Normal, Dry, Combination, and Oily skin types. For a breakdown of each mask keep reading.

Fresh Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask
CAD $49–120

A hydrating mask famous for its cloud-like whipped texture that leaves skin super-smooth and dewy.

This mask will help with Dryness, Dullness and Uneven Texture, and Loss of Firmness and Elasticity.

This mask features Black Tea Complex of Kombucha, Black Tea Extract, Blackberry Leaf Extract, and Lychee Seed Extract which inhibits damaging free radicals and helps to improve skin elasticity. It's also powered by skin-smoothing polysaccharides and moisturizing hyaluronic acid spheres.

This antioxidant treatment mask softens with a cooling sensation (it’s a little tingly) to reveal a luminous complexion.

If your body or skin has a hard time with fermented I would probably stick with one of the others mentioned. My skin does not always agree with this one and I tend to leave it on for less time. This one is my least favourite out of the three

Fresh Rose Face Mask
CAD $33–80

Fresh Rose Face Mask

$33-80

An instant hydrating mask with real rose petals suspended in a silky gel that gently soothes and tones with a plumping effect.

It is good for Dryness and Dullness/Uneven Texture and is a lightweight gel type mask.

It features pure rosewater that soothes and tones. Cucumber Extract and Aloe Vera Gel that helps to soothe and cool and Porphyridium Cruentum a form of ‘smart’ algae that delivers optimum moisture.

This mask does really revitalize your skin and make it feel hydrated and toned and it REALLY smells like fresh roses. So if that is what you are wanting or needing in your skincare this is a great option. This one is my second favourite.

Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask
CAD $86

A five-minute facial in a jar that targets dull, rough, and uneven skin for a smoother, brighter complexion.

It is great for Dullness and Uneven Texture, Fine Lines and Wrinkles, and Dryness.

It features a Super 7 Complex which helps to hydrate, improve radiance. It contains a Blend of Kombu Seaweed Flakes, Red Algae Particles, and Lotus Seeds that work to refine and smooth skin texture. It also has Sea Fennel Extract that helps smooth and enhances suppleness.

This one is the one I reach for most. I find the best immediate results and it is only a 5 minute mask. I do notice a distinct difference in radiance when I use this mask and it feels so satisfying to apply and rinse off.

Do you use Fresh Face Masks? Which is your favourite?
