From a young age and throughout my twenties any time I gazed into store windows, was in yet another fitting room, brought home a handful of bags or stacked up online orders at my door I always heard a lot of “whys” -
“Why did you buy it? “, “Why do you need that?”, “Why do you shop so much?”
The questions were endless but the response remained the same…
“Because I Like Nice Things”
A nice thing can be a luxury or a deal, it can be high end classic or a tried and true piece you just can’t live without.
It is something that makes you feel good –
about trying it, buying it, seeing it, styling it, using it, wearing it, hearing it or eating it.
It can be anything that brings a smile to your face and a warm feeling to your heart…

Who Am I
I am a small city girl with a passion for fashion, a beauty product obsession, a lover of luxury and lifestyle and most importantly on a mission to surround herself with all things nice.
When it comes to Beauty…
I grew up with a beauty product loving mom and two aunt estheticians and was fascinated by every beauty experience I encountered.
I fell in love with products at an early age and would carefully examine each item on the precisely laid out shelves enthralled by their packaging, colour, smell and most of all their ability to transform aspects of ones beauty and enhance ones mood. To this day I still feel like a kid in candy store when I enter a Sephora or a beauty counter department.
I love to try new products and practices as I carefully curate my ultimate skincare and makeup routine.
When it comes to Style…

I have drawn inspiration from the women in my life, working retail, an abundance of fashion magazines & blogs and muses - past, present and fictional.
I loved playing dress up and never really grew out of it. I can likely be found in my closet with music way too loud carefully curating outfits.
My style is ever evolving and I love mixing timeless silhouettes with prints and on trend pieces.
When it comes to Life…
I am all about accumulating beautiful moments and enjoying experiences. Whether that be having a delicious dinner and conversation with those I love, travelling to places near and far, relaxing with a good book in sun basked silence, or singing and dancing around to that song I just can’t get out of my head.
I hope you will find I Like Nice Things as a knowledgeable resource, an open dialogue, and most importantly a space to enjoy all things nice. I promise to always share my honest thoughts on everything – good, bad and sometimes ugly.
