Flawless Face Forward with GIORGIO ARMANI Face Fabric Foundation
While transitioning into the fall and winter season I typically begin to reach for my tried and true liquid foundations but honestly when I began to apply them they just felt heavier than I wanted during these still sometimes warm fall days. I needed something to meet me in the middle but still provide me with the coverage and finish I desired. GIORGIO ARMANI Face Fabric Foundation fits right in. Keep reading for all the reasons why this foundation is your new must have.
What Is It?
A liquid foundation and a mousse-to-powder matte finish with light, build-able coverage.
Coverage: Light - The coverage is light but very build-able and beautiful.
Skin Type: Normal, Combination and Oily
- I would not recommend it for dry skin as it does cling to dry patches due to its mousse-to-powder formula.

What’s Nice About It?
Face Fabric foundation has beautifully light coverage and gives a natural matte finish that blurs both pores and imperfections. It is mousse to powder formula that utilizes its 3D stretch technology to move naturally with your skin leaving a complexion that is smooth and re-texturized.
First Impression & Application Reflection
I immediately loved the feel of this soft and light mousse formula. I was also thrilled that it comes in a squeeze tube which makes it portable enough for a makeup bag and allows you to dispense just the right amount of product for your desired coverage.
As I began to apply it to my face I was surprised at how easily it spread and how much such a little bit of product was able to cover. I must mention that if you are not familiar with GIORGIO ARMANI foundations that you get shade matched at a cosmetics counter or that you use the shade finder tool on Sephora to find your best match. I personally have worn GIORGIO ARMANI Luminous Silk Foundation for years and my shade is the exact same when I was colour matched. It states it is light coverage but it truly is beautifully build-able without feeling heavy or cakey.
Upon application it melted into my skin and blurred the look of all my imperfections and pores. Its natural matte finish looks like a second skin smooth as silk and feels irresistibly soft to the touch. It lasted from morning until night without budging or breaking up in any areas.
How to Use
• Apply Face Fabric with your fingertips
• Spread the formula from the center of the face, and blend outward. – I personally start with my fingertips and blend out lightly with a beauty blender where desired.
• If desired add a second layer for additional coverage, as the formula is build-able.

Final Thoughts
This product is a new holy grail for me. I simply cannot get enough of it and have been reaching for it everyday. It just looks like my skin but infinitely better. It is lightweight and stunning and lasts all day long and even actually looks better as the day wears on. If you are over liquid foundation and are wanting to try something new that it is easy to apply and really makes your face flawless this is an absolute must have. I will be repurchasing a backup immediately because I simply do not want to do without it.
